Ahhhhh, how could he?

I was just about to go out to the car and go to Scraptacular with Josh and Izzy this afternoon. When I went into the kitchen to open the garage and get my handbag, Josh moved Izzy from her changemate (on the floor) onto a armchair half a metre away.

So I jumped into my car after having words with Josh and drove in the direction of Scraptacular whilst calling Nat and my MIL on my mobile. I had no idea what to do and was freaking out and needed to do something so I wouldn't strangle Josh. I mean, seriously how could he? Why? And of all the days of my mum to have left for her 4 week round the world trip... No one else around and I was freaking out totally!

I got onto the Frankston Fwy and realised there is no way I could shop in the mood I was in, I was crying and in no fit state to do anything really so I travelled the remainder of the distance of the Frankston Fwy, got off, turned around and came back home then. Some sense kicked in and I decided to call Nurses on call when I got home. I did that and they didn't think there was anything wrong with Izzy and said to take her to my GP is she wasn't moving certain parts of her body or if she was unusually unsettled etc. I would have taken her straight to my GP but they close at 1pm on a Saturday!

Sorry this is so jumpy and all messed up, it is a little how I am feeling right now. Going to get an appointment with my GP for next week to see if I do have post natal depression or something...

Hi Ros, that was a bit scary. Hope you're feeling a bit better about it now and that Izzy is ok. Hugs!

Hi Ros,

Hope you are feeling better now. It might be a good idea to speak to your doctor, at least you are seeing signs that you many have post natal depression, and if you HAVE and you nip it in the butt early, well..that's gotta be a good thing.

Thinking of you,
