MIA

Okay so I have been MIA for a few weeks. I don’t have a lot to update with as I am not doing a lot at the moment.
I am not staying home with the kids on my own yet for any lengthy time frame as most days I still feel as if I need to go and hide, and go to bed.

I don’t go out much at the moment other than for my appointments (and I have lots of them), my support group (more on that below) and I went to art therapy last week (not my thing, I need something more structured.)

I have been scrapping however and below is some of my latest goodies. I have been doing a weekly challenge online at Bon’s Scraps and find it is working well for me and I am enjoying my time creating.

Lastest one of Nikki, just coz I did. I love this photo Nat took of her. Lots of glittery stickles on the girls, and tiny clear flowers on the all with clear sead beads. See the close up for a better view.
Layouts I made for mum and my MIL. One was for the cyber crop challenge (to do a 8.5 x 11 layout, use bling and metal) and the other one was to use a journal block and wings.

Last but not least, this one was to scraplift a layout in the gallery. I did Rosafy it of course!

Two weeks ago I had my first support group meeting for PND. I will some up the two meetings we have had and keep note of my progress (if for nothing else other than my own records.)
Week 1 – I have never felt so comfortable in a room of complete strangers.
Week 2 – I realized I am not bonding with Bella and it was very confronting and I got upset by that and the fact that I am struggling at home with the day to day stuff.

We had our photo shoot with Katie Toland last weekend. Got some great photos, I got the proofs today. Check out her photoblog for some of the pics.

I will end this here with a whine of an ear infection that needs repeat antibiotics and I have a bit of the flu. Yuck, nothing worse but then I stayed in bed till after midday yesterday (felt so good) although I did get up and do some stuff for the kids before going back to bed and letting Nat deal with them all!

I truly hope that things improve for you in the short term. ANY form of depression is awful. My thoughts are with you.

So glad your getting some support for your PND. It's very important.

Wonderful layouts here. It looks like you have been having lots of fun which is great. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing what other scrappers have been creating.

Lucky you having a photo shoot with Katie Toland. That's a dream of mine. I bet your photos are all brilliant.
