Punched owl!

I saw an owl made using punches on a US blog from the recent convention they had for Stampin’ Up! (in the States) and I loved it so much I had to re-create it. Truth be told, the main reason I purchased the “Celebrate Everyday” stamp set from the spring mini catalogue was because of the owl stamp in it! Terrible aren’t I!

So consequently I have been playing around with punches the last couple of days. My owl is a little different to the picture I saw because well it wouldn’t be ‘mine’ if I didn’t put my own touches on it!!!

Materials list
Ink: Chocolate chip
Cardstock: Chocolate chip, basic black, very vanilla, whisper white, only orange
Punches: Boho blossoms, 1 ¼” circle, ½” circle, ¼” circle
Other: Sponge daubers

Off to put the kids in bed and get ready to watch the Olympics opening ceremony.
