She's here

Isabella Hope Davidson was born at 12.02am Wednesday 18th April, 2007. She was 7lbs (and a smidge), 49.5cm long and had head circumference of 34.5cm.

After 22.5 hours on contractions she was finally here! My contractions were all over the place and at 11.51pm they finally went to 1 minute apart! Izzy also had the best timing of being born after midnight which meant I had a whole extra night in hospital. If you give birth before midnight, it is considered a night in the hospital. I did very little other than sitting on my bed in my room (single room) and rested most of the time.

Since coming home I haven’t sat too long, the house was a mess and stuff was everywhere and I couldn’t settle (silly me) until there was so sort of order. That and I have done 7, yes SEVEN loads of washing since getting home.

Izzy was having a four – five hour break between nighttime feeds at the hospital but at home she is down to every two hours at night time. Yuck!

Would you believe me if I said I hadn’t taken many photos of Izzy? It is not that I haven’t wanted to, I just haven’t had the time! I have wanted to update this since Friday when I got home and it has taken till now to do so!

Enough from me, I want to go to the loo while I am not being annoyed or called at by a little one.
Ros
P.S. I will be back later with more photos, our pc is dying in the ass, new one is ordered and hopefully we should have it mid weekish.
