Home again, home again, jiggty jig

Home from the hospital after they did operate on Joshie (yay). He is funny, he has his happy moments as if he never had an operation yesterday and then like 5 seconds later he is all teary and upset and grumpy....

I am actually very suprised how well he is talking etc. I remember when I had my tonsils removed a week and a half afterwards, I was still struggling to talk... And all the antibiotics I had to take along with the mouthwash and all Josh has to have is normal panadol... How things have changed!

LOL, I was hanging out the washing before and hung his freshly washed blankie on the clothes line and he tried to pull it off saying "no, off mummy!"
He thought it was his blankie from the bench and calmed down as soon as I got his 'other' blankie for him.

I took a couple photos of him at the hospital yesterday but he wasn't feeling very cooperative but this is my favourite of the day. A self portrait style one of the 2 of us.

Best be off, all the kids are asleep and I am making some headway on my DT project (finally)

Cheers,
Ros

Hi Ros,
Happy to hear that Josh was able to have his surgery and it all went well (hooray)!
I had my tonsils out when I was four and something went wrong in surgery, I almost bled out and was very sick afterwards....thought I'd save this story 'til after Josh's op!
Hope he doesn't OD on icecream! LOL
